Like the clients we serve, Lighthouse is a nonprofit organization. We donate our time in order to give our clients the technologies they need to better serve our communities.
How is this possible? I’m Larry Cohn and along with my wife Peg Hennessy we own 100% of Lighthouse. My background includes more than 30 years of work with technology. I’ve owned just about every brand of PC and every version of windows ever made. Cell phones, PDA’s, PC’s, cool software ... I love it all. I started as a computer programer writing accounting software. Then I learned through trial and error how to run a business. I built and sold three of them and retired at age 55. So now it’s my turn to give something back.
Peg is one of those Peace Corps people who followed Kennedy’s call and lived in a hut in West Africa without electricty or running water. She returned to Africa to teach French before landing in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Eventually she reallized she had to make some money and joined the wonderful world of real estate. It is here that she performed the miracle of honing her sales skills while maintaining a genuinely good heart.
Together we have raised our children, sent them off to schools (or not), and are ready for a new challenge. And what could be better than working with people who are committed to making the world better. About CTK ...
