The connection has ended.
Lighthouse's internal financial reporting application is no longer connected to QuickBooks Online. Here is exactly what that means for the data.
Access has stopped
The application can no longer read anything from the QuickBooks Online company. Intuit has invalidated the authorization, and our stored access and refresh tokens are revoked and deleted.
Cached accounting data is deleted
Accounting data the application had cached for reporting is deleted within 30 days.
Our books and records are kept
Financial records that form part of Lighthouse’s books, including reports already presented to the Board and the working papers behind a filed IRS Form 990, are retained for at least seven years. We are required to keep them. This is described in section 10 of the privacy policy.
Nothing was shared
Accounting data read through this integration was never sold, rented, or shared for advertising, and disconnection does not change that.
Reconnecting
An authorized Lighthouse administrator can reauthorize the application at any time. Doing so grants a fresh set of tokens and starts a new connection under the same terms. The steps are on the connect page. Reconnecting does not restore accounting data already deleted under step 2.
If you did not intend to disconnect, or you have a question about what was deleted, email hello@lighthousent.org.
