Lighthouse financial reporting.
An internal application that turns Lighthouse's own QuickBooks Online records into the financial reporting our board and our auditors need.
This application is not available to the public.
It is private software built for the internal finance operations of Lighthouse Nonprofit Technologies Inc., a 501(c)(3) public charity. There is nothing here to install, purchase, or subscribe to. If you reached this page from a QuickBooks app tile and you are not Lighthouse staff, no action is needed.
- What it does
- Reads Lighthouse's accounting records and prepares internal financial reporting: profit and loss statements, balance sheets, budget versus actual comparisons, cash position, and the functional expense allocation behind our board reporting and annual IRS Form 990.
- Whose books it touches
- One QuickBooks Online company: Lighthouse's own. It is not connected to any client, grantee, donor, or partner organization's books, and it never will be.
- Who may use it
- Authorized Lighthouse personnel only. Currently the Executive Director, the Treasurer, and finance staff or contractors under a confidentiality obligation.
- Read only
- The application reads accounting data and generates reports. It does not create, modify, or delete transactions. QuickBooks Online remains the system of record.
For Lighthouse staff
The reporting agent runs on Lighthouse infrastructure and is not reachable from this website. Sign in to the Watch Room for governance and grant records, or contact the Executive Director for access to financial reporting. Your use of the application is governed by the end user license agreement, which requires human review of every AI-generated report before it is filed or presented.
Starting and ending the connection
An authorized administrator links the application to the Lighthouse QuickBooks company from inside the Watch Room. The steps, and what to do if the connection lapses, are on the connect page.
The same administrator can disconnect at any time from within QuickBooks Online, under Apps. What happens to the data afterward is set out on the disconnect page and in section 6 of the privacy policy.
